Add Line Breaks to Instagram Posts with Sked

Having a line break between the description of the post and the call to action makes it easier to tell what the post is all about. Now all you have to do to create a line break on Instagram is simply click 'return' when you want to break up your caption.

Simply create your post and then when you are writing the text immediately click “enter” after your period to go to the next paragraph! 1 Answer. Instagram removes line-breaks by default, not only via API, but even when you manually type a caption through their app. You can get around this by using special characters instead of standard line-breaks, like the INVISIBLE SEPARATOR (U+2063) .

Insert a period or emoji as your line break, but this is important: be sure to delete any spaces you might have in between. End your first line, immediately hit enter, add an emoji or period, hit enter again and start your next line.

How to put spaces in an Instagram post caption. If you have the new option to add line breaks within the app, the process is simple: You just need to hit the "enter" or "return" key and format it as you'd like it to appear, creating the rest of the post as normal.
